GCSE Results 2014

Many students at Sir Herbert Leon Academy Celebrated some fantastic results in 2014. Some individual students achieved an exceptional set of results including Mahin Ahmed who gained 10 GCSEs at A*-C, Jamie Humphries and Angel Morrison who both left with 8 GCSEs at A*-B, Rabbani Miah who gained 9 A*-C and Mamme Faal who achieved 8 A*-C.

These results mean a large number of our students are prepared for the next step in their education with many of them choosing to stay at Sir Herbert Leon Academy to continue their studies at both A Level and Level 3 BTEC courses.

Creative subjects continued to perform particularly well in the Academy. Art, Music and Media Studies are some of the best performing subjects. Many students taking these subjects are moving on to study them at KS5.
