On Wednesday 11th March GCSE Art students went to the Pitt Rivers and
Oxford Natural History Museum in preparation for their GCSE Art Exam.
The day was spent researching, photographing and drawing from observation objects that link with their chosen exam theme. A great time was had by all exploring both museums but the Pitt Rivers was definitely the star of day. It's hidden gems, unusual exhibits and diverse range inspired and engaged everyone. Now we're back students will be using their research and drawings to develop art for their exam project. Well done to everyone who came and thank you to Maggie Copeland, Sue Upton and Hayley Chewter for supporting the day. Thank you Miss Lang. |
